😍Skincare Tips with JKS 😍

We oftenly heard about what ingredients that actually good for skin? we are really sure everyone is dreaming of healthy clear and radiant looking skin right? I mean who doesn't want it?!

After a lot of readings and research findings, We found that there are 5 things that your skincare ingredients should have. Enjoy reading!

1) Low pH (5.5) of face cleanser

The skin’s natural pH falls on the acidic end of the scale, at between 4 and 5.5. Maintaining this balance is important for healthy skin.On the surface of the skin lies a protective layer that is made of sebum (fatty acids) secreted by the skin’s oil glands, amino acids and sweat. This ‘acid mantle’ is responsible for keeping in moisture, repelling harmful microbes that could cause infections and shed dead skin cells.

To do its job properly, its acidic pH must be maintained. Even a slight rise of one point on the pH scale can compromise its integrity. A 2017 study demonstrated that skin with a high pH is prone to acne due to instability of the acid mantle.

2) Niacinamide, Retinol, Peptides, Linoleic Acids, Adenosine

These ingredients also known as skin-restoring ingredients. Skin restoring ingredients have a special ability to care for skin’s surface in a way that helps transform it to appear noticeably younger. These ingredients can bring about a renewed feeling of firmness and, over time, a more even-looking complexion.
Skin-restoring ingredients also help improve a dull skin tone and rough texture, and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles—including deep wrinkles. They work beautifully with antioxidants and skin-replenishing ingredients to give aging, lackluster skin the total package of what it needs to look younger and more radiant on numerous levels.

3) Skin-Barrier Repairing
Hydrating or skin-repairing ingredients are fundamental to keeping the barrier of skin healthy, smooth and young. They re-build the structures of skin to keep the barrier functioning as youthful skin does.
Skin-barrier repairing ingredients help fortify and revive skin’s surface, supplying long-lasting infusions of hydration. This stunning benefit helps skin look and feel soft, smooth, and supple. With ongoing use, skin-replenishing ingredients help skin resist moisture loss and maintain an enviably smooth, plump appearance, just like when we were younger.
Example of skin barrier repairing ingredients are Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid (HA), Ceramides, Cholesterol, Fatty Acids and more. Make sure you have these kind of ingredients before buying your skincare products. Much of these ingredients can be seen on serum, lotion and cream.

4) Clay based Mask
There’s nothing that feels quite as satisfying as a clay mask, especially when you’re dealing with a fresh breakout or your skin feels extra greasy. The way the clay hardens and tightens on your skin can make it feel like it’s really, truly, definitely working.
Clay is popular in skin care products, in general, because it’s so effective at clearing out skin. Clays help to detoxify the skin and draw out impurities and oils from the surface of the skin. This is especially helpful to those people with acne or oily-prone skin. But even if you’re not plagued by breakouts—in which case, lucky you—clays can be rich in minerals and acids that can benefit other skin types, too.

5) Sunscreen that provide broad spectrum with SPF Coverage.
There are two types of UV light that can harm your skin UVA and UVB. A broad-spectrum sunscreen protects you from both. UVA rays can prematurely age your skin, causing wrinkling and age spots. UVB rays can burn your skin. Too much exposure to UVA or UVB rays can cause skin cancer. The best sunscreen offers protection from UV light.
SPF stands for sun protection factor, a measure of how well sunscreen protects against UVB rays.Experts recommend using a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Sunscreens with SPFs greater than 50 provide only a small increase in UV protection. High-number SPFs last the same amount of time as low-number SPFs. Thus, never get out from house without applying sunscreen first eventhough its cloudy (80% of UV rays still can penetrate the cloud!!).
