What is aspartame?
Aspartame is an artificial sweetener, often denoted as E951.

It is 200 times sweeter than regular sugar. The
manufacturer use very little to make product taste sweet with few calories compare
to regular sugar.
Once ingested aspartame is rapidly and
completely hydrolysed in the gastrointestinal tract, which are mainly these two
ingredients:

What is sucralose?
Sucralose is a zero calorie
artificial sweetener, often denoted as E955.
It is 600 sweeter
than regular sugar,does not have bitter aftertaste and has the characteristics of no energy. The manufacturer use
very little to make product taste sweet with few calories compare to regular
sugar.

Sucralose is found in beverages and foods like chewing gum, dairy products, canned fruits, syrups and condiments.

Yes. Even it is claimed that can cause the health
problems but food safety authorities consider it to be safe. It was approved
for use in food products back with more than 100 studies supporting its safety. However, there are controversial issues regarding uses of aspartame in the
foods.

in Europe, Canada, and many other countries also approve its use. Furthermore,
the following authorities endorse it:

-American Dietetic Association
What is Phenylketonuria (PKU)
"There is people with PKU have too much phenylalanine in their blood and are not able to process phenylalanine. If you have this disease you should strictly limit your intake of phenylalanine. This can be found in aspartame"
Labels of aspartame-containing
foods and beverages must include a statement that informs individuals with PKU
that the product contains phenylalanine. For example in the pictures below :
Sucralose and aspartame are
different low- and no-calorie. Each has its own unique taste and give difference level of sweetness. Both are
several hundred times sweeter than sugar. So compared to sugar, only a little
is needed for the same sweet taste. Here are some differences between these two sugar subtitutes :
To contribute to good mouth feeling with safe sweet subtitute, the sucralose is used to replace aspartame.
In Total Diet-8 Plus, the sugar subtitute used is aspartame and for the latest product (7-Days), sucralose is used to give the sweeter taste with no calories.
